Disney World!!

After a relatively exhausting day - waking up before 4AM to fly down, driving four hours, walking all over, etc., we were ready to end the day! My blooper of the trip was that I thought I had booked a hotel... but apparently I didn't! Thankfully, Chris was able to use his little wireless gadget for his computer to book us a beautiful room at the Omni for a really great (cheap!) price.

Saturday morning, we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom! Neither of us had ever been there, so we were excited! The first thing we did was to go on the Kilimanjaro Safari. Both of us would love to go to Africa, but for now, this is the closest we'll get! I got some great photos of the animals!

The lines were relatively short, so we were able to get on all of the attractions that we were interested in, including their new, fantastic roller coaster, Expedition Everest! It was tons of fun! Our only complaint with the park was the lack of healthy food options. Even though we were on vacation and we were getting loads of exercise, we didn't want to eat complete junk. We gave up looking for anything healthy, and ended up with veggie pizza with Cesar salads. The only other vegetarian option we could find was eggrolls, French fries, or dessert!

After Animal Kingdom, we hopped over to the Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom was PACKED! We went on the "It's a Small World," Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Mickey's Philharmagic, and a bunch more. The only bad part of the day was running towards the exit during the parade of lights... I slammed my left big toe straight into a curb! It was (still is!) black and blue!! It was completely my fault though... they announced that you should stay still during the parade for your safety!!
